March BDG: I Know They’re Trying, But I’ve Still Got the ICK

Oh, baby, there’s A LOT going on right now. Some things that are making me so happy, and a lot that’s making me mad, frustrated, anxious, and downright sad. I saw a post about how the Renaissance emerged from the Black Death and the Hundred Years’ War—in fact, how most of these times of extreme creative expression and birth happened during or right after times of massive upheaval.

And so we continue creating, sharing, writing, and putting ourselves out there. Right now I’m doing that in A LOT of ways: publishing a book of poetry (coming in April 2026!), writing a fiction novel, running my very creative marketing agency, building Nope PLUS, launching something REALLY big and exciting to be announced soon.

This BDG is another one of those creative endeavors I’m enjoying right now, and today, we’re talking about:

  • Celeb body image stories giving me the ICK

  • Gentle accountability for ourselves

  • Going back to the healing basics

Let’s get into it, friends!
