This is great advice! The part I'm curious about is the blogpost versus emails-- here on substack, it seems like each blog post is an email, so how do we use emails for medium content?

Ahh, I hear you on that, thanks for asking! Good question. When I say email, I'm thinking more mid-form content, not a FULL article. I.E. something sent through Flodesk with perhaps 2 or 3 sections and more a collection of ideas or content pieces.

BUT, if you were to do something similar with email through Substack, I'd think about it like:

Write your main article for the month then

Email #1: You give a 1-2 paragraph tip or piece of advice and then link to a relevant article.

Email #2: Client story/personal story paired with CTA to subscribe or work together.

Etc. etc.

Some similar style, really, to something through Flodesk, but different than just publishing long-form articles, which I know is what a lot of people do on Substack. Does that make sense?
