Body + Baby: Ditching Food Rules in Pregnancy and Postpartum

Episode 3 of our 3-part mini-series where we dig into food rules, breastfeeding hunger, and why food is more than fuel now (and always).

As our first mini-series, we’re making this available to all subscribers. However, all future mini-series (2-3 each year) are available to paid subscribers only! If you want to get more special content like this, make sure you upgrade as a paying Substack subscriber for $5/month or $50/year.

In our final mini-series episode, Jessica, Becca, and Kayla discuss the complexities of hunger, eating, and food rules during pregnancy and postpartum. They emphasize the importance of nourishing oneself, the normalization of cravings, and the need for support in managing nutrition.

The conversation also touches on the impact of diet culture on food choices and the significance of satisfaction in eating (because food is more than fuel). Bottom line: you need to eat, friend—and you’ll leave with some practical strategies for combatting the little voice in your mind that says otherwise.
